Sounds like the Ferrari of all toothbrushes!
Sorry to disappoint you TS, all it is is a little beep or pause at 30 second intervals (assuming a 2 minute timing cycle for brushing). So you brush one quadrant for 30 seconds, then move onto the next. They've had it in the Braun brushes for ages! Well, they had it in our first electric toothbrush which broke ... then we bought an UltraSonex and MINE has broken, it wouldn't hold its charge and then it stopped switching on at all.

I'm back to a battery operated one ... waiting for DH's brush to break, but it's being a long wait!

I'll have to see if the rep is giving any away (for research purposes of course ;) )

Try the Oral B Triumph, that has a choice of 2 minute or quad timer!
I blagged one at the 2005 Dental Showcase.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I've just been to see the hygienist. SinceI'd finally brought myself to look in the mirror at home I've been ecstatic - she completed removed all of the lower teeth plaque in about 2 minutes with an ultrasonic cleaner.

I'm booked in for 4 more sessions with her.

Anyway, she said "I don't think the Sonicare is the right brush for you, I recommend the Braun Oral B 700 series". I've just looked on Amazon and Argos. £36 on Amazon, £42 in Argos, so I'm going to pick one up from Argos right now (7 day delay in delivery too long from Amazon).
    Happy chappy
