Hiya,
Asking on behalf of my friend.
She was caught speeding by a mobile camera a few weeks ago and got 3 points and a £60 fine, yet I know of other ppl that go on a 1 day course instead of taking the points. Why wasnt she offered this course?

I'm just guessing but it probably wasn't her 1st offence or she was going quite a lot over the speed limit?0

Courses are only offered in some areas."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."
"A dream? Really, Doctor. You'll be consulting the entrails of a sheep next. "0 -
Spartacus is correct, some constabularies are using initiatives instead of points. At the end of the day, you do the crime and take the punishment. Makes me laugh when people say ''im asking for a friend''.0

Because there's no automatic right to it, only a few forces do it and it's only offered to those doing a few MPH over as in 2-3, not 5 or more.Conor
