Whats the best way to advertise my web site?

I've finaly managed to build my website shop, and now have published it to the net. Now, how to I get it noticed!!!! What the best, free if pos, way to get it noticed? Its for jewellery. I have googled this, but everyone I can find, of course I have never heard of them, I dont mind paying, but dont want to waste it on sites that dont come up to scratch.
