Halifax Regular Saver 8%

Halifax Regular Saver OFFSHORE is 8%....I want to save approx £500 a month...is this the account to go for? And also, whats the difference to this account and it's NORMAL Regular Saver??

    I opened regular saver account when they did the 10% interest offer, wonder if the rate will still be same.
    Though the vision may not be the true future of man but it can't be completely beyond his control.

    Yes rates are 8% for Childrens Reg Saver and 5% for Adult Reg Saver. Possibly being reduced again, likely to be Feb 1st in line with the reductions to variable rate savings following Thursdays BoE reduction. Altho it could be sooner as we tend to change Fixed and Regular rates at any day in the month.

    The offshore account doesn't have the FSCS £50K protection.
