I started school DEC 1970 and by FEB 1971 decimilisation happened. I don't really remember about pounds, schillings and pence as I was only just 5 years old.
Lol - could make you feel really old now girls - my DAD was turning 7 in 1970 and I wasn't even contemplated then! (im a 1984 baby)

Hi almond you will need some double sided tape too, you stick the ends together first before you crimp them.0

My daughter's only 3 years younger than she is.
I can remember that the cadbury's creme eggs used to be much bigger though. This is very evident when making the yellow knitted chicks. The older patterns are too big and I had to alter them.
Still it'll keep the waistline smaller I suppose. LOL0 -
