I started school DEC 1970 and by FEB 1971 decimilisation happened. I don't really remember about pounds, schillings and pence as I was only just 5 years old.
Lol - could make you feel really old now girls - my DAD was turning 7 in 1970 and I wasn't even contemplated then! (im a 1984 baby)

Hi almond you will need some double sided tape too, you stick the ends together first before you crimp them.0

My daughter's only 3 years younger than she is.
I can remember that the cadbury's creme eggs used to be much bigger though. This is very evident when making the yellow knitted chicks. The older patterns are too big and I had to alter them.
Still it'll keep the waistline smaller I suppose. LOL0 -
I do remember spanish tobacco it was another of my favourites as well as those very long licorice alsorts! yum don't get me started on Mojo's and Toffee Mac'swas trying to explain these cones last night to daughter and could'nt remember the name sun ice lollies, omg i used to love arrow bars wish

mojo's i remember toffee mac's no and can;'t get a crimper so will have to go to hobbycraft tomorrow
got some bogof choc at tesco going to make some bars for easter that's if i don't eat them before i get my crimper :rotfl:0
