Ah, a wealthy person who is unwilling to downsize. No wonder the Mail is sympathetic!0

"I have been evicted over a debt of just £350,000."
Wonder if the guitar and gay pride style rainbow flag were props from the Mail to give it that hippy squatter kind of feel......."Stay Wonky":D

Its up for sale for £769,000, maybe the £500,000 offer tipped her over the edge

OK, without going into anything at all and saying "she should have known", I do think it's a pity that she didn't manage to get her stuff out properly and ended up having the house burgled 7 times and everything stolen.0

The statement she made at the end,
I've been squatting in my home ever since. I'm constantly on edge but I'm not giving up.
If I'm allowed to keep my home and complete the renovation work, I can repay every penny of the loan. I just need that chance.
If shes a squatter surely she doesnt own the house anymore?
Whats all that about???

It's one of those stories where I feel it is just her version of the truth we are being told. It would have been interesting to hear alternative versions from her husband(s), kids, judge, and possibly shrink as well.0

The clue is in the surname. Not a family famous for having its feet on the ground..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

The nephew of a judge with the looks of Hugh Grant, he seemed the model of respectability. So I wasn't suspicious when he suggested we put the house in his name while giving me a deed of trust allowing me and my children to live in the house for ever.
The story reads like bad mills and boon, i guess she's expecting some mr darcy to turn up and save her from this terrible life of self inflicted poverty."Gold is the money of kings; silver is the money of gentlemen; barter is the money of peasants; but debt is the money of slaves." - Norm Franz0 -

She's got mortgages and loans with Kensington and Swift. No wonder she's in the sh*t!

That house isn't worth anything like £1.6m. At todays values she'd be lucky to get half of that! It's not a 'Mansion' it's an old Rectory. There's plenty of those in Norfolk.0 -
