Have a netgear DG834G router and I'm trying to connect my Nintendo DS wirelessly so that I can play games over the Nintendo wireless facility.
However, although I can wirelessly connect my 360 and one of my pc's, I cannot get either DS (we have 2) to see the router at all, and my PSP can see it but can't connect to the net. Have disabled WEP, allowed broadcasting and updated firmware today and still no joy. I even added both mac addresses manually to the router but it made no difference. Have also rebooted router. I'm now at a loss as to what to try next.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He mentioned it's an "open" network. All devices should be able to see it. Has got me stumped. Would completely disable MAC filtering just to try and get it working. Maybe disable your adsl account if you're worried about people getting in."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -

No, that'll only stop stop external (ie web) traffic. He's trying to connect locally via wireless which won't be effected by the firewall."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0

Just had a long chat with my tech head BIL who works for BT networking and having tried adjusting every setting on the router and managing to connect the PSP, the 360 and my media pc and laptop wirelessly, we've reached the conclusion that either the game cartridge has a fault or my router has one.
Off to try the game on a friends router tomorrow.0 -
Slobbery, is this the same router you were struggling with in another post?

I did post a few days ago having nightmares with the home network. That is all now working, it's just the DS that isn't.0

What about opening up the ports on your router to allow this to work?
That is of course if you haven't already explored that route.
Try https://www.portforward.com which should give you plenty of info for your particular make of router and programs that you should open ports for.0
