poor service
ordered a pair at the end of november 2008
they sent it be recorded post..but nothign has arrived
it was customised pair..so i chose frames and gave my nhs prescription requirements..
but they confirm its been lost
they now say they cannot refund but instead will repalce
the frames i wanted are no longer in stock and forcing me to choose another pair..which do not appeal to me
so they have my money and they will prob claim compo from royal mail
meanwhile im left with nothing
any ideas?

How did you pay? If by credit card then speak to them and ask them to do a chargeback, if not tell the company that as they haven't fulfilled their side of the contract you want your money back within two weeks otherwise you will bring about a small claims court claim against them to recover the money and this may come at additional cost to them (if successful)0

Contact visa they may be able to do a chargebeck so you can get your money back.0

Another disgruntled customer here.... I have been waiting over a month now for the varifocals ordered to be delivered. Have been fobbed off many times by email... today they were supposed to be arriving special delivery. Guess what !!!! No glasses !!!!!!
Have mailed them once more giving them a week to deliver said glasses or it's the small claims court for me.

Am wondering if this means the exclusives eyes glasses are actually made up in India and mailed here.

I managed to break my glasses on the 13th September, was advised by a friend to use specs by post after having a look on Quidco I noticed Exclusive eyes were offering good cash back so went with them, it’s now the 20th October and I have still not received my glasses, I keep getting fobbed and they say my glasses will be sent within in the next 4 working days. Just had an email today saying they have been sent via recorded delivery.
I would advise people to stay well away from this bunch of amateurs.Back into Comping again after a break0 -

This company is Pants
They do not do what they say they do. They take your money on order, not dispatch.
They tell lies and the do not communicate.
Avoid them like a plague.
