Strange happenings with Sky..

Hi all - this is not really too much of a problem, but it baffles me nonetheless!

I live in the North West, so should get BBC NW and ITV Granada by default. However, every now and then when I turn on my Sky box it defaults to BBC London and ITV W Central:confused: There seems to be no pattern for when this occurs.

Any ideas? TIA :o

    It is related to your Sky Card, try pulling your card out, giving it a gentle wipe with a bit of kitchen roll, then put it back in.

    :p Cheers - I'll try that. Won't know whether it's worked though (until/unless it doesn't) as it happens only intermittently anyway!

    You know that all the other flavours of BBC1 and 2 are around channel 989 need them all the time living in Wales!

    Hiya - yes, I knew that thanks. ITV is only available in its "local" version though, as far as I can see!
