How many months wage slips do banks like to see when giving mortgages? Currently I am studying and will be next year too, and the repayments of a £120k mortgage wouldn't be a problem, but they won't give that on my partners wage alone....so I'm thinking, full time job in summer, get mortgage then, quit job, keep up uni and everything hunky dory....in a better house!

Think when you're getting a mortgage on the basis of two wages you have to declare if you think for any reason you think it is likely you will not be working. They normally ask for three months wage slips and also I had to get my employer to sign a reference form saying it is a long term role etc. IF you get anyway with it, by being dodgy to employer and bank and you then run into any trouble financially the bank will be very unsympathetic.Top wins in 2018: Trip to Iceland, helicopter ride over london, couples massage, £300 flight from Pringles, trip to Paris, cocktail making class and afternoon tea up the shard. .
Top wins in 2017:holiday to the Bahamas, trip to Paris, meal with champagne, a week in a manor house in France with £500 spending money.0 -
mmm, if u have thot that way........ u can guarantee the lenders will have thot people like u may think that!
They would require a much longer history than 3 months0 -
This may be directed at the wrong person considering their level of intelligence spelling-wise, but how long would they ask for then?
My partner was accepted before she started her current job without any wage history, probably because it was on 9month contract though.0
