Just curious, when you apply for an instant decission credit card and you get "We can not give you an instant decission we will notify you by post" can you take it as a no?
I have applied for 4 cards today - Turned down for 1 and no decission of the other 3?

Certainly leans towards being declined rather than being accepted, but still a chance of having it approved.0

i have always been accepted a few days later after applying online for CC. This is because i always say no to PPI on form you fill in online...they cant try and force it down your throat like this,so they call you up later to try it..!TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0

4 cards in one day!!
ooo could be bad news...
you should spread your applications... never all in one go, this could of damaged your credit file0 -
A large number of applications in a short space of time negatively impacts your credit score (also makes you look like you are desperately seeking credit), a rule of thumb is no more than 1 application a month.Oh? Why's that?
4 in one day isn't a good thing to do, certainly leave it a couple of months before running any more applications.0 -
Won't affect the OP in the long run, will it? But I suppose we don't know if they need to apply for any more credit in the next 3 months. If they do, uh oh. if not, no harm done really.HeadInSand wrote: »A large number of applications in a short space of time negatively impacts your credit score (also makes you look like you are desperately seeking credit), a rule of thumb is no more than 1 application a month.
