I was browsing in my library the other day, looking for books that could give me ideas to make a difference in the world (think big I say) and came across some books that gave ideas to raise funds for charities. The reason I state this, is that I see so many requests on this board for ideas to raise money at local charity events, that I thought I would mention that your library might have some books on the matter.
The one book I remember seeing on the library shelves was this one Tried and Tested Ideas: For Local Fundraising Events There's obviously loads more out there and for all I know, probably already mentioned in this forum.
Anyway, it was just a thought at trying to give people another suggestion for sources of ideas if they were trying to raise money for charity.

Your local CVS will have this, and other books, probably available to borrow. There is also a printable section on Funderfinder which covers this area of fundraising which they would happily print off for you.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
