Acer laptop - Vista - sound.

In my wisdom I thought I'd dump all the Acer "bloatware" that comes with the laptop.
And there is a lot of it.
Alas one of 10 or 15 Acer programs controls the audio quality as I've just discovered.
I've had to reinstall the audio driver and it's still not perfect.
So now I have "empower" the thing again before i can install the Acer EAudio package.
Ah Acer!
