AFAIK it is a one off
  • I have just looked though my bank statements and I have not been given the christmas bonus this year, I am sure I am entitled to it, I get DLA and Incapacity Benefit. Can anyone tell me if i am right in thinking I should have got it? I am just thinking I might also not get the £60 bonus if I don't sort it out.
  • Hi purplegirl

According to the directgov website if you're on DLA or long term IB then you should get the xmas bonus of £10 and the additional £60.

as suggested on their link, if you haven't received it but think you should give your local jobcentre plus a ring

  • notice in todays paper. pensioners who got £10 bonus getting £60 now. dla, pension credit, carers allowance and certain other benefits get £60 feb/march.
  • I think I need to speak to the job centre tomorrow then. I had assumed my christmas bonus was added onto one of my payments but it has not been. Nothing has changed since last year so my benefits are the same. Looks like a mistake, just wanna make sure it gets sorted so I get the £60, it is a pain to miss out on £10 but to miss out on £60 would be upsetting.
