Fitting lino - what do I stick it down with?

Just a quickie question - I had carpet in the bathroom and following a leak I had to pull it all out leaving bare floorboards. I know normally you'd put hardboard down first, but I've got an offcut of lino I've put down directly onto the floorboards as a temporary measure while I save up to have the bathroom refitted.
I need to fix it down to stop it lifting - mum suggested gluing it but I'm a bit concerned that if it sticks too securely I'll have a real game getting it back up again.
Any suggestions folks?

Thats what our carpet fitter used in the bathroom. It helps to stop any moisture getting under the lino especially around toilets, that you won't know about till you take it up.

Contact adeshive is too thin to use, use small large headed tacks( no more than 15mm long) or double sided tape.

Our fitter used something like evostick rather than a spray on one, it sealed around the toilet and bath so that when the kids missed the toilet it didn't seep under the lino.
Also if you tack it can't you see all the tacks?
He only glued the edges, so that when we eventually had it tiled, it was easy to rip up.

ok to use on hardboard or chipboard to tack the edges, but not recomended for floorboards.
