EMA January Bonus?

Does anybody know when the January bonus will be paid this year? I'm asking because I know some people have still not been getting weekly payments yet and I'm not sure if it will have an impact on bonuses. Also does anybody know how much EMA bonuses are? Do they differ depending on what rate of EMA you get?

Have just checked my old statements for you, mine came 28th Jan last year.

I think it depends on the college though as to when it will arrive. It was £100, I think that they are fixed regardless of the weekly payment.

i hope i get my bonus, but for some reason i dont think i will get it.
ohhh by the way, did anyone else recieve ema over christmas? because i think i did

Thriftybell - you will have received one payment of EMA in the first week of the Christmas holidays - this is the payment for the last week in college. You wont get a payment in your first week back though.

As for the bonus - if you have handed in all assignments on time and been a good girl/boy then you will get your bonus. It is performance based not attendance based. In our college if you have a disciplinary against you then it is automatically stopped.

When the bonus is paid is not up to the college - that is Capita who do the paying. The college only authorise it. You also have to complete 2 full weeks and receive your EMA for those weeks before they will pay.

*edit* Forgot to say but for the ones who are still not in receipt of their weekly payments there will be no way of the college knowing if you are entitled to EMA so there will be no payment. I am assuming that the bonus will be paid in these circumstances (if you have been a good girl/boy)

I've just got a letter from College. I've qualified for the bonus. It's £100 and will be paid week ending 6th Feb. Hope this helps anyone else who is still wondering when bonuses are paid

Are you sure its not backdated pay from before Xmas? No one has had their bonus authorised yet.

We've been told to advise students they'll recieve it on either the 5th or 6th Feb.

Ferrettpecker's right - I work in a sixth form college and we got an email from EMA when we returned after Christmas advising that they would authorise bonuses from Monday 2nd February and that these would be in accounts from Thursday 5th as it takes 3 days to appear at the students' bank.

Another week to wait, sorry!
