Car Hire UK help

Any ideas would be helpful.
I need a car for this weekend preferable from Friday until Monday and through a company where I can pick it up in one place (i.e. Essex but leave it in West Sussex). Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas where I may get this at a good price. Also if I was to have the car for one day I know overall this would make it cheaper, so alternatively any really good deals on having the car for one day. I need it to work out about the same as gettting a train (aproximately £70)
