bbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I've just had a text from Jacs to say Poole Park lake is frozen over and the swans are skating!! I'm waiting for Asda to arrive at the moment, if they get here pretty soon, I will take Charlie down there and finally get to meet her!!

I appear to be slightly unwell in the tummy department so won't be going out today!

instead I am going to watch this movie have a nap mark some books ( No still haven't finished! its a nightmare and I should have got up this morning and done some but my bed was so warm and comforty..........

Just been Asda shopping...................its bluumin freezing out there:eek: I have had a cup of tea and an apple turnover to warm up:D (only a mini one)

Think I will make a nice spicy curry for dinner.

Well, my ex is due back today to find out what has happened at his house

I don't know where he is flying in from, but I hope it isn't Chambery as it is delayed and he won't get back here until around midnight. I'm going to try to help where I can - I've found both my little fan heaters, I've pulled out an old quilt and some bedding and a couple of towels. He won't have any water, so I've got him 5x 2l bottles of 15p still water so he can use the toilet etc.

I'll go down in a few hours and ask the neighbour if it is safe to put the ring with the lights back on at the fuse box so he will have lights and sockets. I'll put the fan heaters on for a bit and stay there just until the chill is off the main room and the spare bedroom as he won't have any heating either.

Just done nice hot spicy curry for dinner and a lemon, lime and ginger syllabub for pud......cant wait.
( feel a bit sick actually........been 'testing' the syllabub a bit:D )...do I add a splash of Limoncello.....its alchohol, so yes.

Ah, thats kind of you BB..what happened? I had a few days away from here and must have missed it-burst pipe? We had one on our return after New Year...overflow in loft froze and flooded ceiling of DS room...
