    Hey lads and lasses I got a serious question now. We are moving house next week and BT have told us that the house we are moving into doesnt have a line and it will cost us £122 for connection. Does anyone know if there is any way of checking this out independently or if there is a way round it? Fanks

    Try telling them to fick off and you'll just use your mobiles.

    Good shout Linda. What about if I get Cable installed say Virgin and check out their Phone/Broadband deals, that might even be cheaper. One question though do I need a BT line for cable?
