Balance Transfer to Dh's Card

Hi,

I have a small query which I was hoping if any of you experts can kindly help with.
I did search the existing forums, but couldn't find a definitive answer.

Can I do transfer existing balnces of DH to my Abbey Zero Card or does it have to me my own debt

I believe so it has to be your own, but if you pay to your bank account to pay off your "overdraft", you can then pay this towards DH debt. Acheives the same goal. Hope this helps.

I thought balance transfers were only allowed from debts in your own name. Then my husband called RBS and they said he could do a BT from one of my cards to his. I was surprised! But it went through OK.

Usually you can BT from any card as long as it has the usual 16 digit numbers .. that's all they usually ask.
However the Abbey card may have specific conditions that prevent that but I'ld be surprised.

PS.. normally you can't BT from a card in the same stable i.e. between two MBNA cards
