what happens now after car accident court case?

long story short.............accident 20 months ago, other driver admitted liability ,my car written off and I got a hire car after other drivers insurance said they would cover costs..............then the other drivers insurance decided he was not liable after all and I had to take a civil case again other driver to reclaim my access plus car hire charges.

Court today, I won judge said other driver at fault and I am getting access, car hire and costs. What happens now????

There is currently and outstanding claim on my insurance..........I take it now that liabilty has been agreed in civil case my insurance will now get the value of my car ( which they paid me as fully comp) off the other drivers insurance then I will have no claims against my insurance again ?

How long does this normally take and do I need to inform insurance company of decission in court today ?

I got home to late to ring my insurance company to ask these questions so would appreciate it if anyone knows

I don't really know, but I'd think a quick ring to the insurers wouldn't hurt - I guess they'll have more experience of these things than anyone. Well done you for having the gumption to take them on and follow it through.
