click sound on laptop

Hi..

When i am connected onto the internet from my laptop - there is a constant click click click then a pause for a about 10 seconds... the noise a little bit like when you double click on something.. its only been today - I have logged off and restarted etc etc

any ideas what it could be?

All advice appreciated

  • I stumbled across this post whilst looking for some help with getting live tv through the laptop, but the clicking thing has been driving me nuts. Followed the instructions and it does seem a lot quieter, though it's still there if I listen for it.
    Anyway thanks for doing your good deed of the day:beer:
