Hi,
hoping someone can help withour new tv. We have set it up according to the manual which looks great but I've been told there is a better way to really make the most of the picture and sound quality, and I'm sure it's been mentioned before but on searching I can't find anything....I'd be grateful for any help....thanks

Had a quick look but struggling to find actual calibrated settings
But from what i have found ~
black adjust off
dynamic contrast off
colour space native
edge enhancment off
digital NR off
real 100Hz demo off
blue mode off
use a THX setup disc to set brightness and contrast:idea:0 -
These are the closest calibration settings I can find, model number-wise:

Different regions and (and even retailers) have different model numbers, so it can be difficult to find an exact match.0 -

Thanks for your help, but sorry to be a bit thick....what's a THX disc? We didn't get one with the TV, should we have?

It's a DVD with a THX Optimiser on it. Look for the THX logo on your DVDs.0

If you have got any of the Star Wars DVDs, they all have the THX optimiser on.
TO FIND THE THX OPTIMISER
Go to the Language Settings menu.
Look on the screen for the THX logo. Use the direction keys on the DVD remote to select the logo. It will then fire up the THX optimiser tests. Don't bother with the audio.
A list of DVDs that have the THX optimiser on are here. Look down the list for UK ones.
