    Just got my first offer from mortgage bundle - was offered the Nationwide BS 2yr tracker on the same terms as is on the Nationwide website...

    Ahh. So it seems that they got bucket loads of free advertising for an inferior service to that provided by brokers. ;)

    In that case, the objective appears to be failing if the lenders are just offering their normal deals and the consumer is no better off financially and worse off with consumer protection.
