Sick notes sent in after resignation

I had to resign from my job, and only managed to send the sick notes in a short while afterwards, as I was so ill during the sicknote period, and couldn't sort it out.
My boss emailed me to say he had received notification of my resignation (I sent an email to HR and copied it to my boss), but HR hasn't responded yet.
I've not heard from HR at all. It could be that HR is so busy with other matters etc. but after 1.5 months, I've yet to receive my P45 and any sick pay potentially due.
Can anyone recommend a suitable course of action? I shall be emailing HR again about this, very soon.
Thanks.

Probably best to phone and speak to some one in HR, or old fashion snail mail , e-mails get deleted quickly and gone for ever.the truth is out there ... on these pages !!
