Anyone know where i can do a first aid course please?!

Hi

I need to renew my 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate ASAP, and am having trouble finding a course

i am based in Bridgend but drive so can travel anywhere really, in South / West Wales

St Johns ambulance are doing one in feb,but its when i am on holiday!
there are lots i have found in north wales!
and another in Llanelli, but its expensive and all done in one 12 hr day !

so if anyone can help ,please please please

i have trawled the net and emailed / called various people,but nothing come up as yet

Do you work within the childcare industry? I do and we have a department within the council who organise training.

You should still be entitled to their first aid courses shouldn't you if they run them though? Might be worth giving them a ring on Monday to find out. If you can't find a relevant phone number, it may be worth contacting your local Childrens Information Service.
I've just read your original post - don't think I would fancy an all day 12 hour First Aid course - far too much information to take in in one go.

They may be running a course near you that you can arrange to attend.

Is 'SHE' Services in Health Education? If so, they are the ones that deliver our First Aid training. Terry is brilliant! I dread the day when I renew my First Aid and it isn't Terry training us - he has done all three of the courses I have been on.
