Task Bar Auto Hides

For some reason this morning I have pressed something on the keyboard and the bottom task bar has suddenly started to auto-hide unless I put my mouse on it. At the same time I have also lost something from the top of the page - help - how do I get these back?

Edit - Somehow managed to get it back again - its all a complete mystery to me!!!

If the taskbar auto-hides again just do this.........
1. Right-click any blank portion of your taskbar.
2. Click on Properties from the menu.
3. The Taskbar Properties box will appear. On the Taskbar tab uncheck the "Auto hide" box.
4. Hit the Apply button at the bottom right.
