The grass will not need cutting until late March :beer: (early August
).
The McCulloch appears to be a great buy, the next cheapest Briggs & Stratton will be a Mountfield and these are £150+.... Tesco's have one for £199.
Hayter, the choice of quality, use the Briggs & Stratton engine ITS SO Reliable.
Don't buy Challenge or PowerDevil unless they are really cheap and you are not going to use them much (nuf said!)

I bought the challange one.
I don't expect it will last too long, if I get 2 summers out of it I will be very pleased. Then I will get a self propelled one.
It was £50, I've got so much else to buy, if it stops the garden turning into a jungle for 2 years I'm a winner.

You will find decent Petrol Lawnmowers at Benji's in Llanidloes, Powys for under £50. They dont have a website unfortunately0

This is the sixth year i have used my petrol Power Devil without a single problem.
We have a very large back garden as well as a medium front garden. So i think your wrong saying they're no good :mad:0 -

My Challenge has done our 115 foot back garden, two summers now & the small amount of grass we have in the front garden too!!!!!
Not bad for £50:D
