Petrol Lawn Mower Needed

I am moving next weekend, hurah

& I need a petrol lawn mower, being as I have LOADS of things to but for my new home I need one as cheap as possible, around £50 in the Surrey area.

Any ideas, there doesn't seem to be any petrol ones in the Argos sale.

Youl be lucky to get one for £50.00 unless its a 30 yr old banger, would suggest buyer something more expensive that'l last...

I did see Petrol Lawn mowers in the Argos sale a couple of weeks ago for £50 actually, brand new too, not 30 year old bangers.

I didn't get one then, because I thought they would still be on sale now & I didn't want to buy anything extra BEFORE I move. I should have got it then.

What make and model was it, be carefull still has an engine, mower might be cheap but how often do need to replace parts and to what expence..

I remember the yellow on them.

Funny thing is they are NOT in the aut/win book, but they were on line.

So maybe they are spr/sum last year & just like we got last book stuff on special now, in the last book it would have been the season before. Am I making sense??

So does that mean I call a number & reserve, would it be better to ring argos customer services & ask for my nearest one in stock? I live near redhill in Surrey.

PS I rang customer services & reserved 1 at the Walworth road branch in London (my husband works not too far away) We live in Redhill in Surrey, nearest one was in Dartford!! Walworth road is better.

I have no idea on stock for the first one, I suspose ring customer services??

Yes, I saw that afterwards. But had already posted my "wrong" post lol.

Will have to get the cheaper one, as moving & have LOADS to buy, will get a good self propelled one in a couple of years, if I get 2 years out of this one I will be happy.

For anyone that is interested they have stock of the sale one in Dartford, Walworth road & 2 other places in SE london (but I can't remember them)
