Hi list,
Is there any way of routing a freeview box through two recorders sitting side by side. At present mine is going through my vcr, but would like it to also feed my DVD recorder. Can this be done or will I have to buy a second freeview box???
Thanx billy

Depends what you're intending to do.
Link your DVD to your Freeview and your Freeview to your VCR and your VCR to the TV. You will probably have to put your VCR on AV if you want to watch FreeviewCraig Mallaby

Thanks Cmallaby, I sent this very late last night, and have just woken up and smelt the coffee. There is no point having the digital signal going through both recorders as I will only be able to record one chanel.
I originally posted coz my digital box is going through the VCR on Line 3 and into the telly which is fine and easy to use. However my tuner signal from my cheap DVD recorder is so crappy (loss of some frequencies, giving a very brash sound) that I wanted to use the freeview tuner. I'll just have to use the digital signal through the DVD and put up with a slightly more complicated turn on procedure to watch freeview on the telly.0 -
An alternative is to buy one of the cheap freeview boxes available, and use that for the VCR only...Jumbo

You may very well be right, however I'm not sure if the 30 -40 quid would be better spent on saving up for a better DVD recorder. If the tuner had turned into a lemon, how long will the rest last?? I'm gonna swap the freeview box onto the DVD for a while to see if I can live with the setup.0
