Suggestion: Subscribe to be notified of article updates

Hope you don't mind me making a suggestion despite the fact that I have only made a handful of posts...
Just a thought, but it would be great if users could subscribe to articles (maybe by having a seperate mailing list for each article), so that they can be emailed automatically whenever an article is updated.
That way those of us who can't visit the site regularly wont get caught out when offers change.
For example, I've just signed up for the Just Dial Saver Free Evening and Weekend Calls service, and by a complete fluke was reading the last page of the 29 page thread on the article, to find out that Just Dial are withdrawing the offer, and suggesting an alternative
Had I not read this thread at this time, I could have missed the above, and spent the next month making what I thought to be free calls whilst actually being charged.
Would this be do-able, and would anyone else find this useful?
