ive also had it jamm mid scan recently
just re installed it and still the same

Uninstall it completely

Superanti spyware (free edition)
Spybot (use the immunise feature as well as scanning)
and if you dont have an anti virus? AVIRA or AVAST

AVG isnt classed as very good anymore
AVAST would be better
AVIRA would be faster but it doesnt have email scanning (But if you open a dodgy attachement, it would stop it anyways)

so get shot of avg and get avira or avast then?
i notice if i click on the remove avg , it says something about deleting the virus vault , would that let anything its caught back into the comp?
