Shares Research Help?

Hi again, I was wondering if you can recommend sites or anything that you use to research a company?

I found the Annual Reports Site here the other day and ordered a free Annual Report. I didn't even know this service existed until I stumbled across it. So now I'm wondering what other nuggets I'm missing. What does everyone here use?

Thanks Albertross, I guess it is related. I'm just trying to read up as much as possible before I make my first purchase. I've held shares before but just trying to equip myself better this time. Is this all that you use?

What I like for is consistent earnings growth.. IT IS THAT which drives prices higher.


No point in buying 'cheap' if a stock goes from say 1000 to 100 if the PE has also risen from say 15 to 150 !!!

Have a look round the Motley Fool site for general investment talk. ADVFN is good for research ( watch the bulletin boards, though, they're a nutter's paradise ). Digitallook has a lot of in depth info, too. Hemscott has probably the most comprehensive coverage but like ADVFN, the best stuff is subscription only. Might be worth it if you are intending to invest seriously...
