Halifax Credit Card

Hi guys,

Been looking at the halifax all in one credit card. I'm after spending £2k on this and can pay it off within the 9 month 0% interest period. The only problem is the guy who i'm spending the money with is cash sales only. The interest on this card with cash advances is something rediculous like 29% so thats out the question.

Is there any other methods i could use, such as money sending on the internet that will come under the 0% bracket

Heres the terms and conditions http://www.halifax.co.uk/creditcards/conditions_7542.asp

Thanks for your time.

I understand now, i'm not actually stoozing, just half stoozing if you like. As i wont be putting the money into a savings account, i'll be spending it. Is that correct?

    You have it Dave, yes.

The guides explain the whole process but, as you say, you're only concerned with getting cash off the card at 0%.

EDIT: Should add that there are cheaper alternatives, for example you could grab 10 months 0% for a 1% fee (with the M&S card's travellers cheque loophole)...but then things get a little complicated. All in all, the Virgin Money card is a very popular choice for people in your position (and gives you 16 months 0% for your 2.98% fee...in case your circumstances change).

yeh it seems very good, equates to around £59 fee which aint so bad. 2009 will be my year of some serious bugeting, when times have been hard i've managed to live on £200 a month (still living with parents)i've been finding it real difficult to save (spending and have nothing to show), this way i can get what i want with the money and once my direct debits set up i wont have a choice about paying it off!
