Our landlady is installing a panel heater in baby's room as there is no other heating in there.
Its a glen duplex and uses 420-500 watt.
We were using portable but that used a lot of eletric.
We will only use this panel at night and we are on E7
can someone tell me if this will use a lot of eletric and if they are good or not.
The room its going in is quite small too so not a huge space to heat up
thx

It will use between 420 and 500 watts per hour. If you pay 10p per KWH on your bill, then your heater will cost 5p per hour.
It will be exactly as efficient as your previous heater.0 -
If it has a thermostat installed the calculation isn't that simple, although you could say worst case scenario is half a kwh per hour in cost.
PS Having a bedroom too warm during the night is not really that good for a child, btw.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
