hi there
I am using windows xp zero configuration , which is set to automatic.
The problem i have is when i click "view available networks" the network shows up fine, i then click the network type in the key, then it keeps reporting back "wireless networks unavailable" , how can this be when it can see the network in the first place, and i can log on to the network using wireless on my other xp machine fine.
many thanks

Sounds like your wireless key might be wrong or your signal quality is very poor. Try move your wireless PC closer to the router and see if the problem disappears.0

1. If you go to
network connections
wireless networks
advanced ? (not sure)
delete your current settings for your network
Type in your password again.
OR
2. Switch off the router for a couple of minutes and switch on again. Sometimes routers huff.0 -
If possible delete all saved wireless preferred networks. Sometimes they can get gummed up. Reboot, double click network, enter key and that hopefully should work.0

i have deleted the network , and started over , as if i was logging on to the network for the first time , but still get the same results "wireless networks unavailable"0
