Has anyone ever bought a George Wimpey new build home?

How did you find the finish/customer service etc?

We bought a Wimpey home a good few years back and never had any major problems.

I notice below that someone was asking about Barrett homes, maybe a good idea to have a register of good/bad builders on here.

I'm currently purchasing a Dunelm Castle Homes house but have no idea on what their build quality is like.

You would have to take anything anyone says with a good dose of salt though. What is a dodgy builder to one person (who may have had their experience several years ago) could be the best thing since sliced bread to another home buyer.

I think the best thing is to do your home work, look through the internet, get in to the house, take your own know it all with you, and find out for yourself...and then once you are satisfied, and only then, do you make an offer on a house.
