It would all depend on if they know about the pricing error and they can inform you of this before you purchase it then you decide if you want it or not. What is the item ?0

Not 100% sure but I would think that when you go to pay for the item the till will tell you that there was a pricing error and give you the new price. Cant see it being honoured somehowJoined slimming world Feb 2010

there is usually some sort of disclaimer in the back of the catalogue most catalogues use em0

it's probs already been mentioned, but i did notice a baby highchair with "great value" written at £19.99. its a chicco one and i thought hold on that must be wrong. When i checked the price under the description of the item its advertised as £99.99.. hmmmmm0

Argos will try and get you to pay whatever it says on their till screen.
UNLESS that is you have some evidence of a different price that the manager can glance over0 -
Just a thought as I freely admit I know very little about argos, but if it is the same on line, could you not eserve it then pay with the quick pay stations and then collect. But if it isn't on line the I don't have a clue (not that I do really anyhow!!)

let me knwo how you get on, please do.0 -
doubt it as it is just a misprint and many of these have been corrected on the in store catalogue and tills already.
and quickpay operates under the same system as the tills, so will tell you whatever the person at the till would.
so unless it is on the till system at £19.99, then it is £99.99 you will pay (or be asked to pay, no one is forcing you to buy it) because the advertised price is only an invitation to buy and not a contract until money exchanges hand

Just looked
That's going to give Argos a major headache!
Do they even have a quality control team?!0
