Well, from what ive seen theres abotu -10% change in and around tw19
but this doesnt mean they wont knock more off as its the asking price ... plus the number of weeks the properties have been on for sale is astonishing! between 6months to a year! Wow
Ive been messing around on ourproperty.co.uk as well, interesting to see what the prices were Pre 2000 - an absolute bargain!!! Its a shame I was only about 12 then lol0 -
Nudda, have a look at property snake aswell. tw19 showing drops of up to 22% on individual props
http://www.propertysnake.co.uk/site/postcode/tw19
Recent discussions on radio have indicated a bottoming out at 2001 prices - but its all guesswork0 -
Thanks hethmar
From reading around on the site, it seems stupid to be buying right now. End of 2009/start 2010 seems to be a good time but again its all guess work. Im saving up a deposit at the moment any way so that will give me enough time to get some more in the pot.
which radio is this by the way ?0 -
1995 prices certainly were bargains but that was the "going rate" at that time and that was before the "cash cow" culture of property development appeared. no-one know what the new generation of prices will be and at this rate I think it could take months or longer before the prices go back down. I think you will get a bargain if you were prepared to buy a repossession or a house that was left from inheritance sold by the family etc as these people would need to sell fast.0

PB is only a year old so some of the properties may have been on RM for even longer. I know they have around my neck of the woods.Well, from what ive seen theres abotu -10% change in and around tw19

Also, some agents now relist the property rather than dropping the price. This means it comes up as new and also means that previous asking prices are masked.Illegitimi non carborundum.0 -

Thanks - Ill bare that in mind when looking.0 -
The repos will be listed just same as any other house nudda. You will just notice the price is less than the others and if you view it will have all the signs of a repo.0
