BT Vision Box £9.97

We cant get this where we live, but I noticed this on the tesco site, :

BT vision pack. This pack allows you to order the BT vision box which will be directly delivered to your home. The activation card inside the pack is then quoted to BT who will then send out the installation kit directly to your home

Was £29.97 now £9.97

Im pretty sure you need bt broadband to be able to use this.

The price cuts seems to suggest that the rumoured new version is coming out soon.

hello. to confirm, you do require bt broadband for this as we have it. you get the box free when you sign up.

On the BT site this is £30 for the box and £30 for the connection. If I buy this box for £10 is that all I will need to pay (providing I have BT broadband)?? can i record the tv onto this box ?

Yes you can pause, rewind, record tv and do need BT Broadband

I have Bt Broadband and have been thinking about getting this for a few weeks, have phoned up tesco to ask if there would be further charges and they have discontinued this item so cannot get the information on screen. If you go to buy it online when you get to checkout it says oos, may be able to get it instore though. Think I may wait a while to see if a new one comes out and go through cashback sites as they are offering £50

You do not need to subscribe to BTvision, mine is free.

depends what you use. you can pay monthly subscription for the 'on-demand' bit which requires bt broadband, or you can pay as you go for each programme.

I think the digital box bit prob doesn't need bt broadband and there is no monthly subscription as its basically a digital freeveiw box where you can pause, rewind and record live tv.
