Imagine the scene, a cold night, in front of a wood fire, you are about to throw another chop on the fire:
I'm just and old man, out of luck with a sexy lady and an oven glove......Mmmmmmmmm, that's great man!
And the heat from the fire has made your legs go red, I'm going to have to rub savlon on them before we go to bedThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I sometimes dream of romance. It's 10 years since I chucked my old man out and it had been well and truly dead for a long while even then.:rotfl:
It's never going to happen with my life now I suppose.
So much for being positive.0 -

Is it bad that nothing springs to mind!!!
Even when we go out for a meal these days, it's more to have something lovely to eat and loads of it, rather than spending time with each other... too full to get jiggy afterwards, and invariably we have the child with us too, so really it's family time, not even the least bit romaticals!!!
i can remember him taking me to hotel once near Balmoral, i worked for Thistle at the time, so it was staff rate(romance wasn't a factor, just cheap!), we had dinner (nouvelle cuisine) still starving, drove to nearest chippy - he had chips! then back to hotel and he watched platoon on a craappy tv picture... and that must've easily been 10 years ago so was never romantic.......
is it romatic if he tells you he's going to fart in bed, so you can at least face the other way???????I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
