Halifax Bank Charges

Hi Everyone, Have just been reading some of the success stories and with my recent victory with my repossession, thought I'd give this a go too!

So..can anyone tell me how to go about getting back this horrendous charges? I did start the process a few months ago, I got as far as sending off for my bank statements and writing them a letter, but I had to stop (can't remember why now), and i've had more charges since then anyway, so might be worth getting a new lot of statements and starting again...if I can do that? Does anyone know

i dont see why you cant get a new lot of statements. i got them from my bank and had to pay them £10 for the privilage! i managed to sucessfully reclaim from 1 of my accounts a couple of years ago so it was well worth it for me.

i successfully reclaimed over £4K in charges from Halifax about 1.5 years ago. You can send off for statements, but i think bank charge refunds are on hold at the moment pending some case.
I found it fairly easy to claim from halifax although they didn't refund charges with interest.
