shall i get locked in tomorrow or risk waiting till tues?

Do you think it's better to get locked in to a fixed rate account on Fri or wait until Tues, when I will get a better rate by setting up an e-account - do you think rates will change that quickly?

I believe that fixed is the best way to go at the moment as rates are sure to go down yet again.I just wish i had fixed before at 2 years ,i honestly did not think at the time that rates would get so low and stay low for a long time.I just try and keep the bare minimum in an instant access account, just in case, but it might as well be under the mattress for all the good it does!

I wouldn't fix for more than a year, certainly we aren't likely to see 5%/6% rates again for another year but fixing now for 3%/4% - i can see things being there again in 12 months time.

    no it isn't - it's worse, but I can't set it up till Tues/Weds

and it might change down by then!
