Barclaycard 12 month 0% cheques

Hi,
I recently reduced the credit limit on my Barclaycard from over £4k to under £2k (I never use it anyway) and today I received a couple of 0% 12 months balance transfer cheques for that account. In the past, the cheques they sent me were for 6/9 months and/or had a 1.9/3.9% interest rate.
It may just be a coincidence that I got these 'better' cheques after reducing the credit limit but I thought I'd mention it here as a possible method to try to get better BT deals.
