its funny i got a C5 as a tide me over car
wasnt bothered in the slightest, just a box on wheels
and i actually quite like it :o
however its the worst car ive ever had for parking.cant see anything out the rear, mirrors are tiny and cant see any part of the bonnet!!
  • great cars, i dont know what the bad handling comment is about, no worse than any other car, super comfy
  • I personally wouldn't choose one. Infact I'd rather choose to have my balls removed with some plyers. But thats my opinion. I've gone off buying them and the 407SW as they seem to be hanging around in the grave yard section of the forecourt. If you need a roomy diesel estate get a Vectra or Mondeo as these are in a similar price range to the C5's...

Thanks for all your comments, interesting words...wafty,wallow, to soft:eek: not sure what they mean!
It's just that I am in a position to buy the above at a very low price, but I do not want to end up with a carp car, just because its cheap.
I have a citroen xantia estate lx which I have been very happy with, there is loads of room in the back and I am looking to get that same kinda space!
The mondeo dows get good reviews, but I cannot find that many for sale, maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places :o

I'm a tad wary of buying cars on ebay, but I will look at autotrader.
    Thanks

its just like autotrader, check to find a car you like, get in touch with the seller,go and see the car before auction ends and make an offer on the car or just go home, watch the auction and put in your bid, then return to collect car. ive sold a few cars on it, very simple process.
