mini motorbikes

Options
i heard on sky news yesterday that the police have powers to confiscate and scrap these vehicles if being ridden dangerously,.

im hoping this is the case and i cant imagine why anyone would risk their childs life by buying them one of these. small boy of about 6/7 down my road has one  and he is up and down our road at every opportunity. i live in a cul-de-sac but that doesnt stop idiots driving down here at 70mph. imagine...no lets not its too horrid.

on the subject of these, theres a group of chavs -sorry to label them- who have mopeds that they ride on the pavements round here to take shortcuts instead of following the roads. who and how do i go about reporting them as they have almost hit me and the buggy twice now.

the w-anker word shouted at them only generates abuise.
There's someone in my head, but it's not me

  • Like most things these days it's not the item that is the problem but the people using them.

Mini-Moto bikes used on a track with proper safety gear are great fun.
They are not meant for use on public roads and it's these users that give the bikes a bad name.

Your best bet is to report them to the police, if you know where the lad with the Mini-moto lives give the police his address and tell them it, they 'should' go knocking and hand out advice (they will do this without letting them know 'who' complained if you ask them). :D

I've moved you over to Discussions as Vent is more for venting about poor service you have received from particular companies you have been involved with etc. :)

Your story mirrors mine and my cul-de-sac is open plan, no gardens at the front just enough space to park a car so these kids on the mini bikes are almost at the front window, the noise is terrible.
