Best Place to Download Music?

Wondered what you lot would recommend as the best site for downloading music?

Please don't say napster cos I don't llike the idea of being able to download from someone else's PC :-/

What is the best value for money?
What has the best choice?
Who is the most reliable?

Please help!!

So many choices came up in Google I haven't a clue where to look :-/

https://www.allofmp3.com is the best value for money.

Not entirely sure how legal it is, since it's based in Russia. But at least you get some control over the quality of your downloads as opposed to all the other services which force you to use a single bitrate.

I've used Itunes a couple of times.

In addition one track on a CD did not play correctly and they refunded me the cost of the whole CD (they suggested the refund not me:-) )

I too would recommend https://www.allofmp3.com as you are paying much less than what the UK based sites charge.

Couple of points to note however with AllofMp3:

1. Download the AllofMP3 explorer and it will make the whole process of downloading tracks much more easier!

2. I would recommend paying by PayPal as I'm a bit reluctant to give Credit Card details over to a Russian website!

As I said, allofmp3.com doesn't actually seem to be illegal, due to some bizarre loophole in Russian law.

I looked at allofmp3 and didn't sign up as I was a bit dubious about the whole thing.

I'd like to find a site for legal downloads,
