I believe HandBrake will rip AVIs from DVDs.

    My bad......

It is acually in avi already. It's a short film of my daughter from a few years ago I got from my camcorder.

The problem I have is that it is 3gb in size and only 14 minutes long.

How can I reduce the size of the file.
