Is This Freeview Box Worth Buying

Hi everyone,

I was thinking about purchasing the Sagem ITD68 Freeview box from my local Argos, as they only have a small range of Brands in stock at the moment due to being a small store.

http://www.techradar.com/products/audio-visual/digital-tv-receivers/itd68-129312/review

I only want a Box for basic use, watching TV and using Teletext service, but a decent Brand/Model will obviously be helpful.

1) I've heard some negative feedback on it, can anyone please tell me if it is worth buying?

2) Anything else you can recommend please in the £30 price range?

Thank you.

Jay

The review makes it sound awful!!
doesn't ship with a Scart lead

has a somewhat cheap look to it,

the most frequently used buttons are positioned too far down the zapper to be really comfortable.

Connections are kept to a minimum with just an RF-out and RF-in present and, rather disappointingly, only one Scart connection

the box does take slightly longer than expected to boot up and overall operation is rather sluggish

once the main menu is accessed, you cannot continue to watch the current channel behind the menu

it does make going through the menu options slightly tedious
    You'd have to be crazy!!

Avoid the Sagem, get a receiver with 2 scart sockets.
