I know quite a few people that dont carry a mobile but wear a watch.
Plus you can wear a watch places you cant take a phone ie.hospitals, swimming etc.
I do carry my phone with me most of the time but never look at it for the time, I look at my watch, surprisingly I only look at my mobile if it rings or I get a message.:rolleyes:Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!

The only man who sticks closer to you in adversity than a friend is a creditor.

Watches - reliable, don't need charging every few days, can be checked discretely, don't require you to reach into a pocket when using them, always display the time (unlike many mobiles that turn of the display after a minute or so until a key is pressed) and can be used safely whilst doing other things.
A phone is a very poor substitute for a watch, positively a step back a hundred years to the days of the pocket watch in terms of easy time keeping
As an alarm clock however mobile phones excel
(my mobile gets much more use as an alarm clock than as a phone

Looks like a good deal - been wanting one of these. Are the v cheap ones all women's models, though?

Mine arrived this morning. It is really nice and apparently once fully charged it can keep working for 6 months in the dark. Unfortunately it'll take 36 hours for it to fully charge on a dull, overcast day like today although only 25 minutes on a sunny day.0

For me a watch is more than just for telling the time - I would rather wear a watch instead of jewellery.0
